Meet Dr. Adebola I. Falae M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Adebola I. Falae M.D. received her undergraduate degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and her medical degree from the University of Rochester Medical School in Rochester, New York. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Falae has a strong interest in women’s rights, women’s healthcare in underserved communities, and global medicine. She has performed research on the social impact of malaria in pregnant mothers in rural India and worked as a volunteer at a cancer hospital in Southern Brazil.
Dr. Falae was born in Nigeria and raised in Newark, New Jersey. She has been interested in a medical career from a very young age and gravitated towards Ob/Gyn because of a passion for improving women’s health outcomes, combined with an interest in merging surgical competence with one-on-one patient care. Dr. Falae prides herself on respectfully listening carefully to her patients, attempting to ensure each patient’s individual needs and concerns are addressed.
Away from the office, Dr. Falae enjoys spending time with her husband and son Harrison, traveling the world, and cheering on her Duke Blue Devils.
